This Saturday, February 22 will mark the 60th Annual Brotherhood Banquet, a partnership between two fraternal organizations with the common goal of helping children in need. Each year, the Elizabethtown Knights of Columbus Council 1455 and RIASOK Shrine Club join efforts to raise money for Kosair for Kids. Our region’s most comprehensive children’s charity serves kids in the Hardin County community through grants to local nonprofits and the Kosair Kids Financial Assistance program, which helps families with costly medical bills and specialized equipment.
Since 1965, the Brotherhood Banquet has raised nearly $1 million to help its community’s most vulnerable children. Kosair for Kids has assisted countless Hardin County children in the last six decades through a variety of programs and partnerships. Most recently, Baptist Health Hardin renamed its NICU after Kosair for Kids to honor their longstanding relationship and assistance purchasing equipment to elevate the facility to a Level II NICU.
The event features a dinner, a raffle, and an in-person auction. Proceeds benefit Kosair for Kids.
