The holiday season will be here before we know it, and Kosair for Kids is giving people the chance to get into the spirit early this year. The region’s most comprehensive children’s charity will collect new, unwrapped toys at a toy drive at their Eastern Parkway headquarters on Thursday, July 27. Kosair Kids will receive the gifts when they attend the annual holiday party in December. For some children, this will be the only gift they receive. The toy drive coincides with a new event at Kosair for Kids during the same week. Thanks to generous donors, dozens of Kosair Kids will get a chance to celebrate in July with Christmas Dreams. Santa and Mrs. Claus will set up shop at Kosair for Kids and offer cookie baking, toy making, and story time with Santa. While the toy drive will be the primary focus on Thursday, we would be thrilled to host your morning reporter for active, visual, and fun live shots to set up the day.
