Kosair Kids Describe their “Super Bowl” Experience at Shrine Bowl

On Saturday afternoon, you’ll have the chance to meet three specially blessed kids who recently returned from the trip of a lifetime. The trio of Kosair Kids traveled to Dallas, TX, to take part in festivities surrounding the 99th East-West Shrine Bowl. Part of their experience included delivering game jerseys to the three Kentucky quarterbacks: Jack Plummer from UofL, Devin Leary from UK, and WKU’s Austin Reed. Kosair for Kids chronicled the moment in a video posted to social media.

Saturday’s media availability will include opportunities to watch the kids play catch and visit with their parents while reflecting on the opportunity provided by Kosair for Kids.

Our region’s most comprehensive children’s charity, Kosair for Kids, is the catalyst for creating a world in which all children live life to the fullest. Part of that effort is providing the power of joy through unique experiences for children who otherwise may feel left out. The Shrine Bowl trip to Dallas created a lifetime of memories for those involved. We know you and your viewers will be inspired and have your weekend brightened when you meet these awesome Kosair Kids.
