Kosair Charities, Jamon Brown Foundation Help West End Youth

A recent free football camp, as well as a trip to the Babe Ruth 13-year-old World Series, have received support from Kosair Charities in collaboration with the Jamon Brown Foundation.

Kosair Charities aided in the cost of the annual Jamon Brown Football Camp this July, led by it's namesake who is a Louisville native and guard for the L.A. Rams. The camp, in its second year, hosts over 200 kids for one day to learn both football skills from NFL-player Jamon Brown as well as hard work ethic on and off the field.

Most recently, the West end’s13U Baseball Team recently won their regional tournament and advanced to the Babe Ruth World Series in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Needing assistance with travel expenses for the players and families, Kosair Charities matched a donation with the Jamon Brown Foundation and other community organizations, to help fund this once-in-a-lifetime trip for the children.

“Thank you Kosair Charities for being such a pillar in our community for such a long time,” said Danny Mosby, Executive Director of the Jamon Brown Foundation. “We are extremely grateful for your support both at our 2nd Annual Jamon Brown Foundation Free Football Camp, as well as this generous donation to help ease the travel and food expenses for the 13u West Louisville All-stars. Our community can always count on you.”
