Dreams Take Flight
Dreams Take Flight is an annual event in celebration of the organizations in our community that serve children. The generosity of an entire year culminates in an evening where Shriners, doctors, donors, grant recipients, and Kosair Kids all gather to celebrate the grants made possible by the supporters of Kosair Charities.
“Grant Night is such an amazing celebration for the organizations receiving grants, our generous donors and, most of all, the Kosair Kids who need the care!” said Kosair Charities Chairman Jerry Ward. Since the 1980s, Kosair Charities has awarded over $216 million in grants and gifts to nearly 100 organizations.
This year’s Dreams Take Flight event took place Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 5:00p.m. at the Galt House Grand Ballroom.
