Congratulations to our Prizewinner

First Capital Bank of Kentucky on Bardstown Road sold kites to benefit Kosair Charities and capped the fundraiser off with a customer appreciation party on December 16th. Every time someone donated to Kosair Charities, they were entered into a contest to win a Christmas tree with ten $25 gift cards on it! Kosair Charities Awards Millions to Kosair Children’s Hospital

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, Kosair Charities announced a $5.9 million grant to Louisville’s Kosair Children’s Hospital. 

The grant brings Kosair Charities’ overall donation amount to the hospital to more than $106 million since 1981. A majority of funds have helped cover needy families’ medical expenses. It also helps the hospital afford new medical equipment, including another MRI machine, cover construction costs and meet other hospital financial obligations. Moving forward, Kosair Charities expects their donations to total more than $200 million by 2026.
